I've seen recipes like these online for many years but never believed their sincerity when they said you can't taste the banana. So I tried it out for myself, and the results were incredible: a healthy creamy ice cream using a banana base, without the need for an ice cream machine!
Prep time: 2 hours, 5 minutes (this includes the 2 hours of freezing time required)
2 tsb creamy peanut butter (try to find a natural kind)
1 heaping teaspoon cocoa powder
1/4 cup of milk of your choice
Step 1: Slice up 3 bananas into discs and place into the freezer for at least one hour
Step 2: Place all the ingredients in a blender including the frozen bananas. I chose coconut milk to get additional flavor, but normal milk is just as tasty.
Step 3: Blend until you get a smooth and creamy consistency
Step 4: Place into a container or mold and freeze for another hour.
