Before yoga became a part of Salma's life, there was no way she could believe that there was a way out of the mind, the monkey mind that is, the constant cluttering. Salma was a med-student, with quite a busy schedule, so busy she had absolutely no relationship with her body or her mind. A few years of regular practice and a 200hr teacher training course later, she can say that her body, her mind, and herself are starting to get along well. She teaches Vinayasa and Hatha classes, and she is currently studying online to get access to teach restorative classes. Salma believes that the greatest gift yoga has to offer goes far beyond the ability to kick up into a handstand; it's pure and utter awareness.
