Omniya ElBaghdadi

Working as an environmentalist, yoga felt like a natural progression. Egyptian by birth, world traveler by choice Omniya fell in love with yoga’s ability to bring people together and its ability to inspire compassion towards oneself. If she’s not in a downward dog, you’ll find her rock climbing, dancing, running or listening to her hip-hop tunes whilst trying (and failing miserably) to sing along. She completed her 200hr YTT whilst on a seva safari trip in Nairobi, Kenya with Africa Yoga Project. Through this seva (the Sanskrit name for selfless service) trip, she met some of the most inspirational people and learned the true beauty and transformative powers of yoga. Africa Yoga Project “educates, empowers, elevates and employs youth from Africa using the transformational practice of yoga”.

Trained in Baptiste Power Vinyasa yoga, she loves to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration in her classes to help you deepen your practice. She is passionate to help others find that ‘magic moment’ in their practice by bringing awareness to the physical and emotional state, and her hope is that you step off the mat feeling rejuvenated, nourished, and balanced.
