Nerine stumbled upon yoga at the age of 12 and she was fascinated by the positions she saw and how she miserably failed at almost all of them. Her interest eventually died down but she was dragged to a class in 2014 and she’s been hooked ever since. Even though she was initially drawn to the physical challenges of the practice, the discipline of being conscious of one's breath, body and mind was an entirely new experience. She completed her 200hr teacher training in Rishikesh, India. She has since co-founded The Mala, where she currently teaches different forms of Vinyasa that focus on both discipline and fluidity as well as Ashtanga.
